There are a variety of system configurations to choose from for heating and cooling your home. Depending on which part of the country you live in, and the construction of your house, some may be more appropriate for you and your family than others.
The most common system is the 'split system' because it requires both an outdoor unite and a unit inside your home.
Basically an air conditioner works like this: connected to the inside cooling coil, the compressor pumps refrigerant back and forth, extracting heat and moisture from the indoors. It transfers the heat to the outdoors. Warm indoor air is blown over the inside coil, then is cooled and distributed throughout your home. As of January 2006, the rating changed to a minimum of 13. We install lines of air conditioners that range in efficiency from 13 to 19.50 SEER. Giving them the ability to handle your comfort regardless of whether it's a moderately warm day, or the hottest day of summer.
